At
the back of the side area of the house there is a small space with the
electricity and water meter boxes. Initially it was an open space and with easy
access through the courtyard (left). For safety I built a wall and isolated
this small space from the rest of the house (right).
This
small space has an independent entrance down the street and in it there was an
old, ugly and already completely deteriorated wooden gate.
I
called professionals for the placement of a new gate. In addition to the delay
for delivery I still came across the high cost of the wood. WHAT DO I DO?
Answer: I went to my workshop and working as a locksmith I made a brand new
steel gate.
With
a friend’s help I put the gate and painted it with the same green automotive
paint used on the door. The economy was huge, the result very good and the
personal achievement immensely rewarding.

FAZENDO O PORTÃO DE FERRO
Na parte posterior da
área lateral da casa há um pequeno espaço com os relógios de energia elétrica e
água. Inicialmente era um espaço aberto e com fácil acesso pelo pátio
(esquerda). Por segurança construí uma parede e isolei este pequeno espaço do
restante da casa (direita).
Este pequeno espaço tem
uma entrada independente pela a rua e nele havia um velho, feio e já
completamente deteriorado portão de madeira.
Chamei profissionais
para a colocação de um novo portão. Além da demora para a entrega ainda me
deparei com o alto custo da madeira. O QUE EU FAÇO? Resposta: fui para minha
oficina e trabalhando como serralheiro fabriquei um novo portão em aço.
Com o auxílio de um
amigo, coloquei o portão e o pintei com a mesma tinta automotiva verde usada na
porta. A economia foi enorme, o resultado muito bom e a realização pessoal
imensamente gratificante.
